Two arrested on suspicion of drugs offences, Nuneaton

Police arrested two men on suspicion of committing drugs related offences at 1am this morning, 18 September in Newtown Road, Nuneaton.

A 25 year old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. He was taken to Nuneaton Police Station where he was searched.

Officers seized a small quantity of what is believed to be heroin and cocaine. The substances have been sent off for forensic analysis.

He has been released on conditional bail not to enter Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough.

He was then further arrested for an outstanding bail warrant and will appear at Magistrates Court later today, 18 September.

A 21 year old man from Hinckley, Leicestershire was also arrested on suspicion of possessing Class B drug. He has been released on conditional bail not to enter Warwickshire.
