Cyclist dies following collision, Rugby

The cyclist who suffered serious head injuries when he was involved in a collision with a car in Corporation Street, Rugby on Tuesday August 17 died yesterday in hospital.
Officers believe there are still key witnesses they have not spoken to and are urging anyone who can help them to please come forward.
The collision happened at about 3.50pm at traffic lights at the junction with Lawford Road.
It is believed that when the lights turned to green and traffic moved off the cyclist, a 50 year old local man, was in collision with a blue Vauxhall Corsa.
The cyclist was airlifted to the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Police investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw either the bike or the car before the collision occurred.
In particular officers would like to speak to a female motorist who was in the queue at the traffic lights as she may hold important information about the collision.
