Incidents of criminal damage fall by 16.6% in 3 areas of Rugby

Police in Rugby have reported a 16.6% reduction in incidents of criminal damage in three areas of Rugby.

Between April 1, 2010 and August 6, 2010* 36 fewer incidents of criminal damage have occurred in Rugby Town Centre, Rugby Town North and Rugby Town West.

Chief Inspector Bob Musgrove, Rugby Borough Commander said: “Police in Rugby take the public’s concerns regarding criminal damage seriously and recognise the impact this crime has on communities and individuals. Together with local partners we are committed to protecting people from harm.”

These priority areas are geographic locations, which have previously seen the highest number of incidents and crimes in Warwickshire.
