Man arrested for attempted burglary, Nuneaton

Officers arrested a 22 year old man from Nuneaton on suspicion of attempted burglary after the occupant of a home in Leaward Close, Nuneaton heard a noise outside at around 7.35am on Monday 23 January. He went outside to see what the noise was and chased a man who he believed was acting suspiciously in the area.

The man tried to get on a pushbike and was detained by another man until local officers arrived at the scene.

The suspect is currently in police cells where he is awaiting questioning by officers.

Police also seized the bicycle.
