Motorbike Keys Stolen Through Letterbox, Rugby

Warwickshire Police is issuing a further reminder to householders to make sure they keep keys and other small valuables in a secure place, out of sight of anyone looking through a window, or through the letter box of their home.

The reminder comes after a motorbike was stolen after thieves are believed to have “hooked” the keys off a table using a piece of wire pushed through the letter box of a house in Gladstone Street, Rugby.

The theft took place overnight (Thursday into Friday 30 March). The keys were then used to steal the owner’s Yamaha motorbike.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the locality of Gladstone Street, overnight is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
