Police seek female witness following indecent exposure in Kenilworth

Incident 35 of 13 November 2012

Officers investigating an indecent exposure that occurred in Kenilworth at approximately 06.45hours on Tuesday 13 November are appealing for a female witness to please come forward to assist the investigation.

The incident occurred when a man on his bike was cycling along New Street, Kenilworth when he spotted a man indecently exposing himself in a field known locally as Parliament Peace. The location is opposite a bus stop on the Coventry Road where there is a wooden swing gate leading into the field. The cyclist continued along New Street until he saw a member of the public and spoke to her telling her about the incident.

Officers believe this may be linked to a similar incident that was reported at the same location on 9 October 2012 and are appealing for witnesses.

Officers are particularly keen to trace the female who the cyclist spoke to at around 06.45hours on Tuesday 13 November.

Following the incidents additional reassurance patrols were carried out by the local Safer Neighbourhood Team who also called house to house in their search for potential witnesses.
