PRESS RELEASE ISSUED ON BEHALF OF BEDFORDSHIRE POLICE: Missing Person - Harkiran Singh DEGUN
Police are concerned about the welfare of Harkiran Singh Degun who went missing in April 2010 after boarding a train in Bedford bound for Bristol. He is thought to be in the Bristol or Warwick areas and police would like him or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them on 01234 842826.
Harkiran Singh Degun was born in January 1974 and is aged 36yrs. He is of Asian appearance, 6’2” tall and of very stocky build. He has a strong American accent, his father being based in California. He wears glasses and has receding hair and a beard (see below photo). He is of the Sikh religion and may have sought assistance from Sikh temples or organisations in the Bristol or Warwick areas.
He has some medical knowledge having studied medicine in the USA. He has a possible connection with Warwick having mentioned trying to further his career in medicine by studying Acupuncture in the town.
PC Mick Collard of Bedfordshire’s Missing Persons Unit said: “We and his family are very concerned about his welfare and want to hear from him or anyone who might have information about his whereas. If Mr Degun sees this story we would like him to contact us immediately or to contact his uncle. If you have any information about his whereabouts please give me a call on 01234 842826.”
