Attempted arson at Leamington

DC 121 Louise Brook would like to hear from anyone who witnessed an attempted arson in Leamington on Friday January 22.

DC Brook is investigating a report that at approximately 5 pm two teenagers (male), who were seen walking in the Sydenham area, put a piece of paper that was on fire through the letterbox of a house. They both ran away towards the shops at the Sydni Centre.

The small fire was quickly extinguished. None of the three adults in the house at the time were injured and no damage was caused to the property.

A member of the public called police to report the incident.

DC Brook has spoken to one witness, but she is aware of at least one further witness and is asking that this person contacts her.
