Man sentenced at Warwick Crown Court for burglary

A man was sentenced at Warwick Crown Court yesterday (August 25 2010) for burglary offences.

Steven Higgins, aged 19 of no fixed abode, was sentence to 32 months in custody (less 102 days already spent on remand), after pleading guilty to six house burglaries

At Helmsdale Road Leamington, Higgins was arrested shortly after he committed a burglary on May 14 2010.

Higgins also asked that five other burglaries be taken into account during April and May 2010:

- Montgomery Road, Whitnash

- Grange Road, Leamington

- Greatheed Road, Leamington

- Palmer Road, Leamington

- The Seekings, Whitnash
