New Local Surgeries in Clarendon Ward, Leamington
Residents from the Clarendon Area of Leamington will now be able to meet community representatives at a new drop-in surgery in the estate managers office at Kennedy Square. Every Tuesday morning between 10am -12pm a police representative will attend the Lansdowne Street office and be available to discuss issues that are of concern to them and their community.
The Leamingon North Safer Neighbourhoods Team and council are committed to tackling crimes such as graffiti, anti-social behaviour and other local issues that impact upon the quality of people's lives. PCSO's Julie Eyden and Paul Sidwell are the local officers who are responsible for the area and believe that the regeneration of the surgey will further improve the contact opportunities that local residents have with the police and council.
PCSO Eyden said: "We are both looking forward to meeting with members of the community and discussing how we and other agencies can help improve the area that they live in. It will hopefully be a one stop shop for information and help regarding issues of concern relating to police issues, housing issues and wider community issues .The new surgeries will build on work already taking place in the area through a partnership between Warwick District Council Housing, the Leamington North SNT and the local residents, these surgeries will hopefully extend this work to the wider community as they are open to anyone who lives or works in Clarendon Ward."
Further information about this surgery and other work being undertaken can be found at the Leamington North SNT website - www.safer-neighbourhoods.co.uk/lsn or by contacting the team on 01926 6843263 or by email on lsn.snt@warwickshire.police.uk
