Appeal For Witnesses Following Bilton Robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery which took place at Withers Newsagents on Main Street, Bilton on Saturday morning (21 January).
A white male wearing a white bandana across his face, entered the premises at shortly after 8am on Saturday, carrying a knife. He approached the post office counter area and stole an unknown quantity of money from the till before leaving the store and making off across the Black Horse car park and into Magnet Lane.
He is described as being approximately 5ft 6 inches - 5ft 8 inches tall, of slim build, in his late teens to early 20's with a pale complexion and was wearing a grey hooded top with the word ECKO and a rhino motif on the front.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the male before or after the robbery, or who saw anything suspicious in the locality between 7.45am - 8.30am.

No one was injured in the incident, although a member of staff was badly shocked by the incident.
