Man arrested in connection with Nuneaton murder

Police have today launched a murder enquiry after a body was found by officers at an address in Blyth Court, Dugdale Street, Nuneaton, this afternoon (Saturday, November 24, 2012).

One man, a 47-year-old from Nuneaton, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

Police attended the address at just after 4pm this afternoon where they found the victim, who has not been identified at this time.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out tomorrow.

Currently a police cordon is in place on roads surrounding the property at Dugdale Street, Riversly Road and Princes Street. It is anticipated that these cordons will remain in place for some time.
