Two arrests after drugs raid in Stratford-upon-Avon under Operation X

Officers have arrested two men following a drugs raid in Stratford-upon-Avon on Tuesday 22 October.

A substantial quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be heroin and crack cocaine, was seized from the property in South Green Drive. Two men, aged 18 and 48 were arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply. They were taken into custody at Leamington police station for questioning and later released on police bail until 5 December pending further enquiries.

Leamington Spa’s Proactive CID team carried out the drugs warrant as part of Operation X. Operation X is a Warwickshire Police initiative aimed at going the extra mile to protect communities where the most harm occurs and catching those responsible for it.
