Serious Road Traffic Incident on A46 At Drayton Near Stratford

Two people have been taken to hospital following a road collision on the A46 at Drayton between Stratford and Alcester, at shortly before 4am this morning (Friday 9 December).

Two males, who were in the car, which had been travelling in the direction of Stratford, were taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. One is described as being in a serious condition.

The A46, between Oversley Green and Drayton was closed to traffic following the incident and currently remains closed this morning.

Police would like to hear from any early morning travellers who were on the A46 shortly before 4am this morning who may have seen the silver Peugeot 406, travelling between Alcester and Stratford, prior to the collision taking place.
